Communication is integral to the success of any mission, and that's exactly what Sgt. Perez and his small team facilitate every day. Specifically, as an audiovisual technician (or, AV tech, which is how they’d describe it on a TV show production), he plans, supervises and coordinates all the tech that powers event live streaming, as well as setting up equipment for presentations at ceremonies and meetings. Through it all, the Marine Corps provides Sgt. Perez with the training and access to technology equipment that would be hard to find anywhere else.
