Sky-High Dreamin’
Ever since he was a kid, Travis has had his sights set a bit higher than most. Hailing from a family full of pilots, when it came time to earn HIS wings, Travis appreciated the compelling runway offered by the Air National Guard: first-class training, great pay and, thanks to the GI BIll, coverage for the majority of licensing and certification costs. In fact, without those benefits, Travis would have spent more than $100,000 to get his airline transport pilot’s license through the traditional civilian route to becoming a pilot. Today, he flies the massive C-130. Sky-high dreamin’ indeed!
