Overview
Electrical instrument and equipment repairers in the tactical data system specialty may work in the field or aboard ships to troubleshoot and maintain these vital systems. Tactical data system repairers perform maintenance on tactical data systems, common hardware/software suites, and other computerized information processing systems. They are responsible for installation, configuration management, system administration, and maintenance.
Military Training
All enlisted service members complete basic military training which includes time spent in a classroom and in the field and covers tactical and survival skills physical training military life and customs and weapons training. Job training for tactical data system repairers consists of classroom and on-the-job instruction including practice in repairing tactical data systems. Training content may include:
