Introduction to Senior and Junior Military Colleges(02:17)
This Senior & Junior Military Colleges guide describes the colleges' unique combination of higher education and ROTC military instruction. Senior Military Colleges (SMC) include Texas A&M University, Norwich University, The Virginia Military Institute, The Citadel, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), University of North Georgia and the Mary Baldwin Women's Institute for Leadership. These colleges offer comprehensive financial aid packages for eligible students.
In addition, the Military Junior College (MJC) allows cadets to become commissioned officers in the Reserve in two years, instead of the usual four, through the Early Commissioning Program.
