Senior Airman Jennifer Gayheart: I was going to college for nursing, and the Navy has a great nursing program as well. [00:00:05] But I just couldn't see myself being on a ship all the time and I knew I wanted to be in the air. [00:00:10] I love to travel. I've always wanted to travel and [00:00:15] Air Force has allowed me to do that.
Senior Airman Joshua Mills: I used to watch the planes coming in and going out. We were by one of the approach ends [00:00:20] to one of the runways. And, you know, I was like; "Oh I'd really like to fly someday." [00:00:25] And so a few years later I started saving my money [00:00:30] and started to fly. And said, "Okay, this isn't bad stuff." [00:00:35] And I got even more interested when there was an aviation accident, or something like that. Because that always triggered my [00:00:40] questioning what happened, you know, how did it happen, because there's a lot of mystery in that. [00:00:45] One thing led to the other, and I started school and I got my pilot license, [00:00:50] and kept on flying for the next five or six years and [00:00:55] the Air Force was just the next step to the, you know, flying the [00:01:00] big airplanes, or at least being involved [00:01:05] with the larger-type aircraft. And, you know, I enjoy it, and I love serving my country.
